After returning from a trip to El Salvador to meet with the wrongly deported Maryland dad, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Sen. Chris Van Hollen urged the Trump administration to return him to the U.S.
Van Hollen then called out the administration for a lack of evidence over repeated claims that Abrego Garcia has ties to MS-13.
The Justice Department had previously said in court that Abrego Garcia had been wrongfully deported due to an “administrative error.”
