After saying just Monday that it is unlikely that Ukraine would win the war with Russia, President Trump today announced that the US is sanctioning Russia’s two oil giants until Russia agrees to a ceasefire along current conflict lines. Not coincidentally, NATO uber-hawk Mark Rutte was in town yesterday bending Trump’s ear.
