Speaker Mike Johnson has quietly gone back on his word to prevent a massive omnibus spending bill before Christmas. Christopher Bedford, senior editor for politics at Blaze News, says Johnson is particularly squishy when it comes to house negotiations and will relent to lawmakers who don’t want to change their travel plans. Bedford even says Johnson will likely offer concessions to big-spending Democrats since he can’t appease Freedom Caucus members who want to slash government expenses.
