A young mountain lion has returned to the wild after being found severely emaciated, anemic, and suffering from soft tissue trauma nearly six months ago in Southern California’s Yucca Valley.
San Diego Humane Society caretakers helped her recover. She was released on Nov. 20.
The lion was fitted with a satellite GPS collar to help monitor her health and well-being in the wild.
