Reasons Why You Need to Have a Bottle of Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus essential oil, distilled from the Australian tree Eucalyptus globulus, has a long list of traditional uses.

Australian aborigines used eucalyptus to heal wounds, cure fungal infections and reduce fever.

Chinese, Greek, European and Ayurvedic medicine then adopted eucalyptus as a disinfectant and expectorant.

Current medicinal applications of Eucalyptus Oil can be seen in most grocery stores and pharmacies around the world,

including the use of oil in wet wipes, over-the-counter cough and cold medicines,

throat sprays, and painkillers topics just to name a few.

Improvement of hair health

Eucalyptus oil improves the shine, thickness and overall health of your hair.

However, excessive use can reduce shine and result in a greasy scalp.

Most experts suggest using eucalyptus oil for hair an hour or so before bathing

and then using a good shampoo to remove the residue, followed by a good conditioner.

You will need to

50 ml olive oil
5 ml of eucalyptus oil

Mix the eucalyptus and the olive oil and gently massage this hot oil mixture into

the scalp to stimulate blood flow to the hair roots and comb. Shampoo and condition normally.

Treats colds and congestion

Eucalyptus oil has antiviral and antibacterial healing properties that help treat colds and congestion.

Inhaling the strong aroma of eucalyptus oil helps loosen phlegm and relieve congestion associated with a cold and flu.

In addition, it works as an immune stimulant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant,

analgesic and the spasmolytic agent that helps to treat a cold and its various symptoms.

Eucalyptus oil for diabetes

There is not enough research at this time to show how eucalyptus oil works to reduce blood sugar,

but a 2010 study in rats suggests that “treatment of diabetic rats with eucalyptus for four weeks outweighed the diabetic state

and reduced significantly blood glucose levels. ”

It’s still not entirely clear how eucalyptus oil works, but since it could lower your blood sugar,

you should check with your doctor and closely monitor your blood sugar levels if

you are using eucalyptus oil along with your medication for diabetes.

Kidney stones

Kidney stones can really bring down a person.

This painful condition can be debilitating. Three times a day,

massage 1-2 drops of oil over the affected area to relieve unbearable pain.

But if the pain persists, seek medical help.

Muscle pain

Eucalyptus is a natural analgesic. It also boasts of anti-inflammatory properties that make it

an effective medication for external pain. Patients with sprains of arthritis,

ligaments and tendons, fibrosis, nerve pain and muscle pain use eucalyptus oil to relieve pain.

Massage a few drops of eucalyptus oil evenly over the affected area to relieve pain.

Remember to massage into the heart, to move the accumulation of lactic acid through the lymphatic system.
