Pre-packed drinks in Singapore will soon have clear, front-of-pack labels outlining their sugar content. And in a world first, those that have the most sugar will be banned from advertisements. The ban will apply across all local mass media platforms, including broadcast, online, social media channels, print and out-of-home advertising.The Health Ministry introduced the measures as part of its war on diabetes — a condition that is expected to take a heavy toll on the ageing population.
