Garlic milk Recipe
Garlic – 10-13 cloves pealed.
Milk – 1 cup (150 ml)
Water – 1 cup (150 ml)
Method of preparation:
Mix water and milk in a vessel. Tie garlic cloves in a clean thin cotton cloth using a string and immerse this in milk-water mixture. Heat this in low flame till the mixture reduces to one cup and only milk remains. Squeeze the garlic bag into milk and discard the garlic bag. Serve this milk when it is warm. It has to be taken in empty stomach. If you have acidity, drink it after consuming food.

Constipation and bloating are very common problems and are caused by an imbalance of vata dosha in an individual’s body. Vata is associated with cold and roughness, which is why foods with the opposite qualities can help to prevent vata imbalances.
Garlic milk is one of the best natural remedies to treat joint pain, as both milk and garlic have anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce inflammation of the joint and relieve pain. In addition, the calcium content in milk can also work towards reducing joint pain.
Both honey and milk possess antimicrobial and cleansing properties. These properties are enhanced when the two are taken together. Numerous cleansers are prepared using milk and honey because the mixture gives the skin a healthy glow.
Protects the Heart
Garlic is a key component in many Ayurvedic remedies for heart ailments. Over the last decade, several independent research teams have found that garlic has a cardio-protective effect as it alleviates cardiac hypertrophy, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and other pathological conditions of cardiovascular disease.
Ayurveda says that this mixture can treat migraine and reduce migraine related headaches, as it has anti-inflammatory properties.
