This is the heartwarming moment a baby seal is rescued by two kayakers when they cut a plastic string from around its neck. The bleeding youngster that had already lost an eye, possibly pecked out by a seagull, was slowly being strangled in the water when it was hauled into one of the kayaks. Shocking video caught on a GoPro in Walvis Bay, Namibia, shows a man cutting the string away before the animal is set free. It’s a young cape fur seal, according to kayak instructor Schalk Louw who helped to rescue the distressed animal.
