Potatoes are the edible and starchy tubers of Solanum tuberosum, a plant species of the Solanaceae family Solanaceae.

They are widely cultivated throughout the world, due to their incredible nutritional value and culinary versatility.

But potatoes also have healing and cosmetic properties,

so they can be used to treat a wide variety of medical and aesthetic conditions.

The potatoes come in different sizes, colors and textures depending on the variety.

The largest sizes are mature potatoes, while the smaller ones are new potatoes.

The thin skin may be yellow, brown or reddish, while the pulp with

starch is usually white or yellow and its texture may vary from waxy to floury.

Texture affects how potatoes are cooked better.
Although we do not eat potatoes in their raw form,

it can be used to make juices and is beneficial for many ailments.

Treat gastritis and arthritis with raw potato juice

Therefore, potato juice is a healthy drink to stimulate the digestive system and protect the stomach from various disorders.

Raw potato juice also helps to balance the acidic condition and acts as a natural anti-inflammatory beverage.

Stomach ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis and liver disorders can be treated by consuming raw potato juice.

Potato juice benefits the digestive system by drastically reducing the chances of constipation.

Drinking raw potato juice diluted in water helps prevent constipation.

The digestive disorders are also treated effectively with the raw juice of the pink potatoes.

You can drink half a cup of potato juice mixed with warm water every morning to help relieve constipation, peptic ulcers and dry skin conditions.
