Today i am going to Show you “BARLEY WATER FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES” Barley is an excellent source of dietary fiber and it contributes healthy bowel movements and helps in avoiding constipation. Barley is a soluble fiber which can easily soluble in liquids.

Our doctors recommend that an adult women eat 25 grams and adult men eat 32gms of dietary fiber everyday. Most people in the united states do not meet this target so for them this barley is the best option. We can consume this barley in many ways either by in the form of grains or powdered form.

Lets Start Preparing the Barley water. To prepare this Remedy we need..,

Preparation of Barley Water with Grains
Ingredients :-
1. Barley – 3 table spoons
2. Water – 2 Cups
3. Honey – 1 table spoon
4. Salt – 1 table spoon
5. Lemon or Lime – 1 (Optional)

We need to wash the barley for twice bcoz the husk on the seeds will be settled on them in the form of powder so we need to wash it for twice and strain the water completely.

1. Now place a pan on the stove add 2 cups of water let it boil for 5 mins after that add 3 tbsp of barley let it boil for 7 to 10 min on medium flame.

2. After 10 min switch the stove and place the pan aside and strain the water into a mug and add salt to it.

3. Drink this water daily in the morning and before going to bed as this will help in lower bad cholesterol , encourages in weight loss and helps to boost the beneficial bacteria which helps to lower blood sugar levels.

4. If u like even u can add lemon or lime juice to it.( optional)

5. Instead of discarding the seeds even u have by adding honey to it .

Preparation of Barley Water with Powdered Form

Ingredients :-
1. Barley ¾ cup
2. Water – 6 Cups
3. Honey – 1 table spoon
4. Salt – 1 table spoon
5. Lemon or Lime – 1 (Optional)

1. Take ¾ cup of barley and wash them under running water and let them under shade or sun for 30 minutes.

2. Dry roast the barley on low flame for 5 min.

3. Roat the grains till they are hot enough to touch with fingers.

4. Let them to cool for 2 min and blend into coarse powder.

5. Now take saucepan add 6 cups of water let the water boil on high flame.

6. Add this coarse powder to the boiling water now let them boil for 15 to 20 minutes on medium flame .

7. Strain the water and let it cool for some time and refrigerate the water.

8. Consume this water with sweetener or salt by adding lemon juice to it.

Even we can make fine powder of barley and use as a mix in the wheat flour.
