Its pain-relieving potential can also reduce pain and suppress inflammation. Dip a cotton ball in the garlic oil and gently dab it on the infected area. Leave it on for 3 to 4 hours. Repeat twice daily.
Aloe Vera is quite famous for its healing properties. Its antimicrobial potential will clean out the infection and reduce inflammation. Extract the aloe vera gel and directly apply it to the infected area. Let it dry and then clean the area with a soft towel. Repeat twice daily until the infection is gone.

Warm compress is another easy home remedy to get rid of a belly button infection. The heat will help to kill infection-causing microbes and reduce pain and inflammation. Place a hot towel directly on bellybutton and leave it on for few minutes. Repeat twice daily.
