Death rates from heart failure higher in women

Women are more likely than men to be hospitalized and die from heart failure, according to new research led by investigators at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
The study, published Monday in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, is the latest to identify a gender gap when it comes to heart disease.
