Coronavirus: Couple choose to stay on quarantined cruise ship despite all clear

David and Sally Abel, a couple who are quarantined on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship off the coast of Yokohama in Japan, have said 44 new cases of the coronavirus have been diagnosed.

The couple from Oxfordshire also explained that they were given the option to leave the ship and continue their quarantine on land at a Japanese holding unit, but decided to stay on board due to language barriers.
