The Constitution Vs. The Left

The Constitution has been called a living document.  The reason for that is because when it was written, the founding fathers realized that as time went on the society would change, so they built in methods to have the Constitution change with it.  For very good reasons, they didn’t make the amendment process a simple one.  Knowing that power corrupts, and fearing just that, the founders made it so that in order to change the Constitution, a lot of very disagreeable people would have to agree to the changes.  This was to stop every President Tom, Dick, or Obama from changing it on the whims of a simple majority.  Obama himself has called it a flawed document, and that it “makes it more difficult to bring about change than I would sometimes like.”  Yes, Barack, that was the point.
