Hey guys! Toby here, and today, I’m going to be talking to you about your liver, and how having a fatty liver is holding onto stubborn body fat and much more…
The liver is a large organ within your body making up the right side of your midsection and has over 500 functions in the human body, with the most notable today being digestion and detoxification.
Now, since the liver has so many functions, you can only imagine what would happen if something was wrong with it and live with liver damage… including:
Unwanted belly fat
Yellowing of the eyes
And right side body pain
You may not know this, but taking medications or over-the-counter things like Tylenol, you are killing liver cells.
Over time, fat deposits accumulate in the liver, causing your liver to then become made up of fat, a.k.a. a fatty liver. If you’ve noticed a “spare tire” effect going around your belly, with it sticking out further than your chest and rounding, chances are that you have a fatty liver.
At this point, medical procedures like a biopsy are needed to assess the situation more closely.
I don’t know about you, but the last place I want to end up in the hospital because I didn’t know what to do about this. So, I have some tips to start to regenerate your liver health for you…
And to begin, first start by removing the things that cause fat accumulation in the liver:
2:07 #1 – Reduce deep fried food intake…
These trans fats are terrible for your liver.
Instead, fry your foods in medium chain triglyceride oils like coconut oil. These are actually GOOD for your liver!
2:23 Tip #2 – Try to reduce alcohol intake – a good replacement is kombucha tea – it creates a similar effect to that of alcohol without the strain and pain on your liver.
2:35 Tip #3 – Add 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar to the start of your day.
Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid that helps temporarily adjust the body’s pH balance that will in turn help to synthesize more protein – a key function of your liver.
2:54 Tip #4 – Start eating bitter vegetables: collard greens, kale, mustard greens, radishes, etc…
These contain b-vitamins which are proven to regenerate the liver…
To make things even easier for yourself, you can use a greens powder to get your daily vegetables intake such as Science Based Green Detox.
My good friend Thomas actually just posted a free video on how taking a greens powder like Green Detox can be so much more than just getting in your daily serving of veggies.
You can watch that now at ScienceBasedGreenDetox.com.
Now, remember – help out your liver by reducing your fried food & alcohol intake and incorporate some apple cider vinegar & whole vegetables.
